Established by the Danish Ellmoos family in 1880 this heritage listed property is set on 11 acres of grounds in Jervis Bay Territory.
It was the first guest house on the South Coast between Sydney and Eden, today retains the old world atmosphere from it’s heyday in the 1920′s.
Christian’s Minde Retreat is the ideal rustic old style “away from it all” holiday destination.
On the shores of the beautiful Sussex Inlet and surrounded by the Booderee National Park.
You have the choice of a number of different accommodation rooms, units, cottage and even a house.
All guests have use of the laundry, undercover BBQ area, and common room with TV, Boat Ramp, Jetty and the surrounding grounds. Bike hire is also available.
The retreat has the oldest existing building in the Sussex Inlet district located on the north shore of the Inlet.
Directions: Follow the Jervis Bay Road until you enter the Booderee National Park, after the toll booth turn right and follow the road 9km until Christian’s Minde Retreat.
Please note thats GPS systems and Google Maos incorrectly show a bridge from Sussex Inlet to Christian’s Minde. There is no bridge.
