The Brassey of Canberra, established in 1927, offers 81 guest rooms, 35 standard rooms, 45 deluxe heritage rooms and 1 suite and is set within the central, quiet, leafy tree lined suburb of Barton.

Set in 2 and a half acres of lawns and gardens on the fringe of the parliamentary triangle it is within walking distance to many of Canberra’s Tourist attractions

All rooms have electronic key-card access, private facilities, mini bars, colour television, STD and ISD phones and data ports for Internet connection.  The Heritage rooms are exactly as the word describes, “Heritage”. With traditional style furniture in solid honey-coloured hardwood, walls rich in colour and solid brass fittings, an atmosphere of 1920′s charm and elegance is reflected.

On Saturday’s the bar opens at 5.30pm and is closed on Sunday evenings. In addition there is The Belmore Restaurant – the hotels very successful A la carte Restaurant. Offering fine dining in a romantic, relaxed atmosphere The Belmore is open for Breakfast 6.30-9am everyday, and dinner Monday to Friday.

The Brassey offers their guests complimentary use of the Barton Tennis Courts and guests playing privileges at the Royal Military College Golf Course.
